Rachel is with our firm for 17 years. Rachel has an in-depth understanding of the local tax aspects within all industries. In 2016 Rachel has acquired extensive knowledge in the alternative energy, waste and technology industry in the Netherlands. She has extensive experience in tax planning, tax due diligence, tax audits, tax litigation, compliance and technical research of the Aruba tax law. Her specialization is in indirect taxes, the energy sector & hotel industry. Rachel is a former lecturer at the University of Aruba on tax legislation and has presented at several seminars on recent developments in legislation and case law to industry groups. She also formed part of special committees for the introduction of new tax laws in Aruba.

- Master’s degree in Fiscal Economics, from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands
