As a Manager Assurance, you will lead assurance engagements from planning through completion, working closely with clients, Partners, and your engagement team. You will combine strong technical expertise with leadership, client management, and commercial awareness to deliver high-quality assurance services.

You will also play an important role in coaching team members and contributing to the growth of our Assurance practice.

What you’ll do

  • Plan, manage, and complete assurance engagements within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Assess engagement risks and determine the appropriate audit approach in consultation with the responsible Partner.
  • Audit and review complex financial statements and assess accounting policies and disclosures.
  • Review internal controls and guide team members in their work.
  • Maintain strong and proactive relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and contribute to management letters and reports.
  • Ensure audit files are complete, properly documented, and meet professional and regulatory requirements.
  • Review team members’ work and provide coaching and constructive feedback.
  • Manage engagement budgets, invoicing, and additional work.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to client acquisition and the growth of the Assurance practice.

What we’re looking for

  • Master's degree or internationally comparable degree in Accountancy and/or Assurance.
  • RA, AA, CPA, ACCA, or comparable qualifications are preferred.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience as a Junior Manager or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting.
  • Professional and critical mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-management skills.
  • Good command of English; willingness to develop Dutch and/or Papiamento where needed.
